How is the software sold?

We sell the Market Analyzer as an annual subscription.

What is included in the tool?

A perfect onboarding process is crucial. We have developed a series of calls where we introduce your team to the tool, recommend and confirm market definitions, discuss any CIP code adjustments, and train your primary users. We typically present the tool, the data, and recommended interpretation approaches to a larger group, such as chairs and program directors, at your institution as well.

What about support?

We are committed to your success, and we are available to answer your questions, interpret the data together, and help in any way that we can for the duration of your subscription.

How long does the tool take to set up?

All the data is preloaded, so the tool is available to you, with data already customized to your institution and your markets, as soon as we receive your signed contract. We typically conduct a market analysis and create additional custom markets for you, which we can complete within 3 weeks of receiving your data.

How many people at my campus can use the tool?

Our standard package includes four subscriptions to Tableau Viewer, our cloud-based platform. Additional seats are available at a modest cost, currently $180/year.

Do you offer consulting?

Yes! While the tool comes with a fair bit of “face time” with UQ, some institutions may wish for more support to dive deeper into the data and help with the decision-making process. We are happy to assist you with that. For larger engagements, we partner with both Credo and NACUBO to offer in-depth consulting packages.

What about workshops?

Yes! We offer a powerful 1.5-day workshop at your campus, or online, where we work with key users of the tool to develop a deep understanding of the data, underlying strategic concepts, and how to interpret the data to drive decisions. Depending on your preferences, this can also include working with you to develop specific recommendations for programs at your institution.

How often do you update the tool?

We update the tool whenever new data, such as from IPEDS or the BLS, is released. We also update the tool when we add significant features or other improvements. We will update your instance of the tool for the duration of your subscription.
